Vail aka Winter Wonderland

Kenny and I slipped away for a romantic weekend getaway in Vail. I have been on many vacations, including overseas and this was by far the most amazing place I have ever seen. Kenny and I absolutely fell in love with Vail and we can't wait to go back next year.

Making more Memories

It has always been a tradition of Kenny and mine to spend the weekend after Thanksgiving decorating for Christmas. This year was no different. We had to spend most of Friday taking down tables, chairs and decor from Thanksgiving (hosting for such a large group will do that!). Then we were ready to decorate and Jack was more than willing to help!

Thanksgiving 2011

This year was extra special because we hosted BOTH families for Thanksgiving. It took 3 days to prepare for over 30 people, but Kenny and I actually had a really good time. We both agreed it was the best Thanksgiving we have had.


This was our first time to make a turkey. It turned out amazing. It took 20 hours, but was totally worth it. Here are before, during, and after pics.

Phoenix Day 2

Our second and final day in Phoenix was spent with Daddy working and Mommy and Jack...you guessed it! At the pool!

First, Jack and I checked out our private pool...

Once Mommy realized how dangerous it was, we headed back to the main pool! Jack was being a silly baby, posing for the camera...and refusing to leave!

We took some family pics at the resort before we headed out. It was so pretty.

Bye Phoenix! We had fun....now on to Vail!

Impromptu Phoenix Trip

Last week Kenny sent me an email that he had to travel to Phoenix, along with the link to the resort he was staying at. Well, that is all it took for me! Jack and I were going too! It was Jack's second time to fly, so he was a pro!

He made sure to study the safety manual...
